“Au 8ème Jour”

I have a soft spot for stop-motion animation, so you might expect to see this video on this blog. But it wasn’t until the second time I viewed this that I felt moved to share it. The second occasion was at Piktura’s Vimeo channel: Wait! I’ve seen this before; do I turn it off? But the visuals were captivating. As an ecology fable or parable, though, I’m not so sure. Full screen recommended, cannabis and headphones optional.

Piktura is an animation school in Roubaix, France. They list five student directors for this video: Agatha Senechal, Carin Flavie, Theo Duhautois, Alicia Massez and Debruyne Elise.
