There was no spectacle of storm structure. It was just another sunset over Rogers Park, the view southeast toward Loyola University. But there were lake effect rain showers over northern Indiana and maybe even over Hegewisch, Chicago’s extreme southeast side. What I find so charming is the three layers of clouds in various layers of color and shadow, depending on their altitude.
